Belogradchik Rocks, Bulgaria

Belogradchik is a small town located in the Northwest Bulgaria. The formation of the Red rocks started about 230 million years ago and during the Triassic period, when they were at the bottom of the sea. They cover an area of 90sq.km and some are 200m tall.
